Adding your Bonaire eSIM to your phone

Automatic APN configuration

Most eSIM profiles auto-configure APN settings for Digicel's network. After installation, verify the APN is set correctly:

Signal and network verification

Arriving at Bonaire's main airport with your eSIM

Before boarding

Purchase and install your Bonaire eSIM 24-48 hours before departure. Scan the QR code on a stable WiFi connection at home. After installation, keep the profile disabled until you are on the ground in Bonaire. Digicel begins the plan timer on first registration, so toggling it on during a layover burns a day you paid for.

During the flight

While airborne, review your cellular settings. The Bonaire eSIM should appear as a separate line under Settings. Assign it as data-only. Leave your home number active for incoming texts — two-factor authentication codes from your bank still arrive over SMS.

After landing
