Our commitment to accuracy
We check eSIM plan prices monthly against provider websites — Airalo, Holafly, Saily, and Nomad. If a plan price changes, we update the affected country guides before the next publish cycle.
Airport SIM counter data is harder to verify remotely. Hours, prices, and counter locations change without notice. We cross-check this data quarterly against traveler reports and published airport terminal guides. When we cannot confirm a detail independently, we flag it with a verification date.
When we publish something wrong, we correct it, note it in the log below, and keep the original claim visible so you can see exactly what changed and why.
How to report an error
If you have found a mistake, email editorial@prepaidtravelesim.com with three things:
- The URL of the page with the error
- The incorrect information as it appears on the page
- The correct information, with a source link if you have one (provider website, airport website, or direct observation)
We respond within 48 hours. If the report checks out, we update the page within 72 hours and add an entry to the corrections log below.
Reports from travelers who have physically visited the location are weighted heavily. A first-hand account from someone who just bought a SIM at Narita T2 at 11 PM tells us more than a cached airport website page.

Correction:Corrected Suvarnabhumi (Bangkok) airport SIM counter hours. The guide listed AIS and DTAC counters as open 24/7. A reader reported the counters close at midnight and reopen at 6 AM. We could not find official published hours, so the guide now lists "6 AM to midnight" based on the reader report and notes that hours are unconfirmed by the airport.

Update schedule
Data on this site gets stale at different rates depending on the type. Here is how often we refresh each category:

The "Updated" date at the top of each country guide reflects the last time we manually reviewed that page. It does not update automatically. If the date on a guide is more than three months old and you have newer information, email us.
Spotted something wrong? Email editorial@prepaidtravelesim.com. We read every report. More often than not, first-hand traveler corrections are right and our data is what needs updating.
