eSIM installed but no data connection
Go to Settings > Cellular and confirm Data Roaming is enabled for the travel eSIM line. Not your home line. Toggle Airplane Mode on, wait 10 seconds, then off. The phone will re-register on the local network.
QR code will not scan
Increase screen brightness to maximum on the device displaying the QR code. Clean your phone's camera lens. If scanning still fails, copy the manual activation code from your email and enter it in Settings > Cellular > Add eSIM > Enter Details Manually.
Slow speeds after connecting
Go to Settings > Cellular > Network Selection. Switch from Automatic to Manual and select the primary carrier for your destination. Some eSIMs default to a secondary network with lower speeds. Switching manually often resolves this.
